Capture Ingest Quickref

One-screen operator card for Kevin's "add it" requests: source first, shape the graph, update all touched pages, then rebuild retrieval.

Open this page when Kevin pastes a URL, tweet, repo, article, screenshot, or raw source and asks to add it. Canonical protocol: Capture Ingest Protocol.

Fast Path

  1. Search existing pages and aliases with qmd/rg.
  2. Fetch the primary source and important linked/source-critical context.
  3. Decide durable shape with Wiki Brain Operating Model before Filing Decision Tree.
  4. Update the primary page plus related graph pages, citations, aliases, timelines, and redirects when needed.
  5. If the source changes tools, skills, routes, or generated packs, update the owning routing/source pages.
  6. Mark raw sources absorbed when applicable.
  7. Run npm run build-index, qmd update, qmd embed, and relevant doctors.
  8. Append wiki/log.md.

Non-Negotiables

  • No one-file dumps when the source has graph implications.
  • Every new fact needs source context.
  • Generated surfaces are refreshed from source pages, not edited by hand.
  • Tool/service captures route through Skill Resolver, Capability Routing Map, and Actionable Tools Index when they change behavior.
