Notability Gate
Create standalone entity pages only when the subject has durable retrieval value; otherwise use a ledger row, section, timeline, or plain text.
Resolver Status
This companion is the quick gate. Wiki Brain Operating Model owns the full promotion/demotion model and Entity Identity Protocol owns entity dedupe. Source: User request, 2026-07-01
Create A Page When
- Kevin directly works with or cares about the entity.
- The entity appears across multiple sources.
- The entity is central to a project, tool, decision, or philosophy.
- Future agents are likely to search for it.
Use A Smaller Shape When
- The entity is a one-off mention.
- The useful fact is only evidence for another page.
- A ledger row with aliases would preserve retrieval without creating a stub.
Closeout
If this rule changes, update Filing Decision Tree first, then this companion page, relevant directory READMEs, generated packs if routing changed, wiki/_index.md, qmd, and wiki/log.md. Source: Index Logging Protocol, 2026-07-01
