Unicorn Studio
No-code WebGL design tool for interactive shader/effect surfaces: dither, glyph texture, mouse trails, god rays, motion, and embeddable visuals for Framer, Webflow, or any website.
Unicorn Studio is a visual WebGL editor. The official page describes 75+ WebGL effects, no-code editing, real-time preview, video/JSON export, Unicorn AI beta, performance controls, and embeds for website builders. It is a design-source tool before it is an engineering dependency: use it to prototype a visual direction or export an interactive treatment, then decide whether production should embed Unicorn, rebuild in code, or flatten to video/image. Recipe captured from Oriku
The reviewed bookmark is useful because it gives an exact layer stack, not a vague aesthetic reference. Oriku's thread turns a normal image/video into an interactive pixelated artwork:
- Image/video source.
- Adjust: saturation
198, temperature-3, contrast100. - Dither: Blue Noise, threshold
50, mix50, speed50. - Glyph Dither: Organic, scale
84, gamma100, phase100, mix100, color mode Texture, background on. - Mouse Trail: radius
64, strength50, hardness0, tail44, fluidity36, dissipation1, chromatic25, momentum0, effect type Noise Displace, scale86. - God Rays as the finishing depth/glow layer.

Stack fit
Use Unicorn Studio when Kevin wants a distinctive, interactive visual surface quickly: campaign posters, personal-site scenes, portfolio sections, hover-reactive art, or a visual proof before coding a shader. Route through design-engineering-polish if it appears in a product UI: animated texture is acceptable only when it has a clear role, respects reduced motion, and does not reduce text contrast.
Do not create a general executable skill yet. The current durable value is a reference recipe plus a tool page. A skill becomes justified once Kevin repeatedly asks agents to reproduce Unicorn effects, audit exports, or translate Unicorn setups into React/WebGL.
